The Old Lady XPB2-1
- (twin vertical stabilizers)
- Manufactured November 5, 1941
- Manufactured for the US Navy as as a patrol bomber
- Heavily armed with tail and nose turrets, waist gun, retractable top turret, and bomb bays
- Navy decided plane was big lumbering easy-target no good for patrol bomber
- Gun turrets were removed and redesignated as a transport plane (XPB2Y-1R )
- Maiden flight on the 23rd of June, 1943
- Retired in 1945

- First flight on July 21, 1945
- Destroyed Aug 5 1945, Sank after baad landing in Chesapeake Bay

- Commissioned in Alameda California, February of 1946
- Destroyed at sea 5 May 1950, burned and sank off Diamond Head in Hawaii after emergency landing

- Mission 30 km west of Nanaimo, and crashed in a run over the fire.


Carolina Mars JRM-2 (C-FLYM)

- Last Mars delivered to US Navy May 1948
- Designated the JRM-2 with more powerful Pratt & Whitney 'Corncob' R-4360 Wasp Senior radial engines
- Engines produced 3000 horsepower each, for a total power availability of 12,000 horsepower
- Converted to Waterbomber 1960 C-FLYM
- Destroyed October 12, 1962 on the ground in a freak wind storm at Victoria International Airport
