john dober , PA | My father, John Dober, flew PBM3-Martin Mariner, "nicknamed" Dumbo, Rescue Squandrant 3 in WWII.
Recently his wife passed away. He'd like to find his plane at a museum to visit and take the grandchildren to see. He would also like to find any living member of his
squandrant 3 which included Len Drabant, Aviation Radioman,
Earl Lofgrin, Pilot from Pgh, PA and Kurt Jordaht Co Pilot, James Farley,Navigator and Mike Blake. My dad is
83 and has early Alzteimers. I would love for him to see
his plane and possibly meet anyone who was in his squandrant. You can email me at klm@salsgiver.com 08/29/2008 @ 03:55 [ref: 22574] |
