The AH-64A Apache is originally constructed by Hughes Aircraft Company which was taken over by McDonnell Douglas (MDD) when the first AH-64A was produced and from 1997 MDD was merged with The Boeing Company. So the AH-64A Apache should be credited:
Hughes/McDonnell Douglas
for its constuction.
And the AH-64D Longbow Apache\'s should be credited:
Hughes/McDonnell Douglas/Boeing

The Air Force is not the Designation System for the AH64A. The Army is the Designation.

How long will it be until the specifications for the AH-64A are available?
