Keith Songtan, OTH | I crewed 80-0030 at Nellis; 78-0532, 78-0522 at Kadena;91-0300 at Mountain Home. 83-0040 and 80-0030 crashed and wer destroyed. All F-15's have placcards beside the canopy seal on the inboard aft side of Bay 15 for C models, or Cabin Pressure Regulator area on the E models and are in two digit year format, followed by 4 or 6 digit hull number. 12/16/2009 @ 16:17 [ref: 25437] |
shane pittsburg, PA | I was crew cheif on a F15c at nellis AFB and I heard form some still enlisted friends that tail number 0045 crashed a few years back. i was wondering if there were any pictures of it before it crashed. I lost all my pics in a fire and that was the greatest time of my life being a crew cheif. if there are pics can they be posted

Dennis Tucson, AZ | Sorry Brent, I was 1st Crew Chief on 86-0149 when it arrived at Mountain Mome, also crew chief on 79-0038 in Bitburg West Germany all F-15 acft tail numbers per aircraft regulations were the year two digit followed by a 4 digit hull number 06/06/2008 @ 11:00 [ref: 21195] |
brent mountain home, ID | my comment is about the tail flashes that they referance above alot of those are wrong. i can also verify all the f-15c model aircraft stationed at mhafb. 85-127,85-128,86-143,86-144,86-145,86-146,86-148,86-149,86-151,86-152,86-155,86-157,86-158,86-161,86-162,86-168,86-170,86-177,86-179and also f-15D model 86-181 10/31/2006 @ 20:45 [ref: 14621] |
Aaron Robinson Wilmington, NC | In the first photo two F-15s are escorting B-52 bombers to their destination. When I think about the F-15 I see it shooting down a MiG-29 or escorting B-52s to Russia. 06/25/2006 @ 14:04 [ref: 13595] |
DLK Houston, TX | 84-0005 and 84-0030 are currently assigned to the 19th FS/3rd Wing at Elmendorf AFB,AK 02/26/2006 @ 15:30 [ref: 12624] |
Lee Turner Valdosta, GA | Crewed 77-095 at Soesterberg AB, NL (32 TFS)'78-'79, then got the first F-15D ever in Europe (79-004), then 77-126 at Holloman in 1980. Great jet. Sure wish someone that knows about airplanes would police the picture posting. 10/23/2005 @ 19:23 [ref: 11549] |
robert sherman , OH | the first picture in that set is not an f-15 ,,but an f-18 D model i do believe.
Perhaps im wrong ?
thanks for a wonderful site, i enjoyed the pictures 09/19/2005 @ 00:16 [ref: 11274] |
John P. \"Jack\" Brown San Diego, CA | My comments were directed to the first photo in the "F-15" collection. That photo is of an F-18, not an F-15. 09/11/2005 @ 18:09 [ref: 11206] |
John P. \"Jack\" Brown San Diego, CA | Great photo---of an F-18 Hornet. The tail fins on an F-15C Eagle do not lean outward, but those on the F-18 do lean outward. 09/11/2005 @ 18:07 [ref: 11205] |
