Robert , AL | In addition the OH-4A lost the competion to the OH-6, but eventually won it back when Bell redesigned the OH-4 into what became the OH-58 Kiowa. 09/27/2007 @ 12:31 [ref: 18031] |
David Hatcher Dothan, AL | There is no McDonnell-Douglas OH-4A! The OH-4A was the Bell entry into the 1962 Light Observation Helicopter competition. Hughes Tool Company, later Hughes Helicopter and much later bought by McDonnell-Douglas won the "Loach" competition with their Model 369 OH6A. 01/01/2007 @ 06:06 [ref: 15052] |
