Clint Daniel Southern California, CA | I have a number of original documents and photographs relating to the testing of the ME-163 Komet, that was obtained from the estate of engineer/test pilot Bernard Hohmann. You can see these items at www.danielsww2.com. Anyone who has any additional information regarding Mr. Hohmann, I would appreciate hearing from you. All the best. 11/08/2005 @ 13:40 [ref: 11649] |
Gene Italy, OTH | The first photo of Canada Museum is part of Heinkel He 162 salamander and not of Me 163 Komet.

For interesting commentary, diagrams and photos of the Me-163, see:
"The Rocket: The History and Development of Rocket & Missile Technology" by David Baker, Ph.D. (Published by Crown Publishers / New Cavendish Books and P.B.A. Enterprises, 1979.)
I have a copy of this large-format book, though I suspect it is very rare.
