| John D. Voss , CA | The OS2N-1 was the designation given to the Vought Kingfishers produced by the Naval Aircraft Factory in Philadelphia, PA. The NAF constructed 300 of the aircraft (BuNos 01216-01515) and they were identical to the Vought OS2U-3. Although the OS2N was thought to have been extinct a wreck has recently been discovered in Alaska...possibly in the Aleutians. 03/25/2006 @ 07:50 [ref: 12912] |
