Alex Clark Homer, AK | The L-18B was not a Super Cub. The L-18B were modified PA-11s ( Cub Specials). 105 PA-11s were built as modified PA-11-90 and purchased by the Air Force as L-18Bs. They were all supplied to Turkey under the Mutal Defense Assistance Pact. Some served with the Turk military during the Korean war.
There were no plain L-18s or L-18As.
The later L-18C was a military version of the PA-18-95. The first supercubs which had a C-90 engine.
