CMR Models from the Czech Republic put out the 1/72nd scale kits of the Pratt-Read. I have one and the delicate detail is incredible.

I have owned three Pratt Reads (LNE1)in the past (1970) and after selling them in 1978 am looking for another one or two to restore. Any one having knowledge of any LNE1 or PRG1 in any condition please contact me. I'm certainly looking forward to flying one again or at least displaying one.

I have created a solid history of the Pratt Read LNE-1/ TG-32 glider and can account for over 42 of the 76 ever manufactured. I also know where all of the existing ones are located: One is still flying (VA); two are being restored to flying condition (one ea in MI and CA); seven are on permanent displays in Aviation Museums (two in TX; one ea in CT, NY, KY, IN and ND); and another six exist in storage (one ea in AL, CA, OH, MI, IN and TN).

I was pleased to come across this site. I was looking for stats/ dimensions to prepare a placrd for our LNE-1. We have PR-G1 S/N 33. You can see it (I think) at www.hoosierwarbirds.org.

I recently found a Pilots handbook in a box of items that I purchased at a sale. It is in very good condition. Photos on request.
