| John D. Voss , CA | Only two HR2S-1W's were procured by the USN (BuNos 141646 & 141647) for evaluation purposes. These helicopters utilized AN/APS-20E scanner radar for early warning purposes. As only two were ever in the USN inventory one would assume that it was not a successful experiment. Perhaps it was redundant with the Grumman WF-2 (E-1B) Tracer.
