Roger Freeman (Vintage Aviation Services, 170 Pershing Lane) in Kingsbury, Texas has quite a few blueprints for SPAD XIII aircraft (some 220 or 330?). But probably the best source might be Replicraft. Freeman loaned all his drawings to Jim Kiger at Replicraft and Kiger did some research on his own and enlisted the help of noted SPAD researchers like Ellic Somer and Alan Toelle to complete a set of 1/5 scale plans for a SPAD XIII. Locate Replicraft on the web. Replicraft's plan sets are wonderful and easy to use. Freeman's company, VAS. recently built a SPAD XIII for a collector and used Replicraft's plans throughout because they were easier to use than individual blueprints. 02/14/2009 @ 06:33 [ref: 23719] |
G , MA | Who has engineering drawings for the SPAD XIII? I'd like to research building one from scratch. Including milling the wood. Any suggestions would be helpful. email me. 10/12/2008 @ 13:42 [ref: 22839] |
