The A-7P aircraft were remanufactured A-7A airframes, not A-7C airframes. They were re-engined with the P&W TF-30P-408 engines. The avionics specifications were very nearly the same as the A-7E aircraft, with the exception of the nuke capability. The Portuguese Air Force operated the A-7P's from 1981 thru 1999.
