Really impressed! Everything is very, very clear, open is a description of the problem. It contains the information.

There has since been some aircraft added to their display. The P-38 Lightning; P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang; B-25 Mitchell, B-24 Liberator, and some others I can't think of at this time.

I think that the museum is fantastic and especially for the price of admission (free). It has a very good selection of aircraft to check out along with many other displays. I served in the Air Force from 68-70 as an aircraft refueler, and I refueled all of these aircraft and more (except wwII and earlier planes) at one time or another during my tour. I think that it is very special to be able to go somewhere and see an aircraft display such as this, especially for the kids who other wise could never see these aircraft other than in pictures.

I liked the collection of airplanes, especially the SR-71 Blackbird. The B-52 and B-17 are worth a look, too. The only thing to spoil it all was that the museum closes really early.

The new fighter exhibit is really the tops... The story of the P-38 they rescued out of the muck in Alaska is a miracle. Yes, the tribute to Bernard Fischer is long over due. If you love airplanes then don't miss the opportunity to see one of the best museums in the world.

The museum keeps getting better. I visit every couple of weeks or so. There have been some recent additions to the aircraft collection, including a MiG-17, an F-86F, an F-5E Aggressor, an F-106A, and an A-1E. They have broken ground for a new building that will house many of the aircraft still outside, and those outside have been moved to make room for a B-1 and a C-141. My only criticism of the museum is that many of the aircraft that have been repainted haven't been accurately done, in my opinion.
