Hi i am Tyler Cross. I am writing to you today about your information on UC-45E S/N 43-33284. This airplane was purchased by my grandfather in 1991. He flew the airplane from Compton, Los Angeles to Yolo County airport, Davis. He didnt begin to work on the beech 18 until 3 or 4 years after he bought it. His plans were to restore the airplane to it original state. My grandfather was later diagnosed with ALS. In the first year or so he lost the movement in his arms so he couldnt work on the airplane any more. In 2000 a group of my grandfathers friends, know as the beech 18 gang, my father and me got together to finish the airplane so he could see it fly once again. It took 3 more years of working every weekend till 2 in the morning and some week days to finish this aircraft. The aircraft was fully restored on April 31, 2003. If you would like some more information on the airplane please contact me at my email(jvwarrior_77@hotmail.com) i would really appreciate it. thank you for your time and i hope this is some useful information.

Sincerely,

Tyler Cross
