Lawrence E Newman Adel, IA | As a former member of the US Air Corp and the USAF, I have many hours in the F-9 Flying Fortress. I have been looking for an account of my mapping work in the South Pacific. I have not found a record of the activity from February 1946 through 1949.We operated at 20,000 feet and all my mapping was done over an open hole. I opperated as many as six cameras from a position below the floor in the radio room, containing, view finder and a mounted 6 inch focal length K-17 camera. Three cameras where in the nose and two 24 inch cameras in the waist. All controlled by intervolometers at my position. If you have access to any comments that might eluminate my service ,I would appreiciate it.
