| orik clintontownship, MI | Recently id resigned from the service after 8 years working on the T-41 acft.( Philippine Air Force.)i had a lot of memories hanging on my back..especially working with the officer and crew.i do miss it somehow..though the maintenance procedure was somehoe crude;we were able to keep it soaring high.thanks to the officer and the gentleman whom i cannot name...he has change the destiny and faith of both the T41 and mentor acft.by changing the maintenance system.which earn him a lot of grudges and instantfame. 11/15/2007 @ 11:47 [ref: 18543] |
| Scott Saunders Alexandria, VA | The first United States Air Force aircraft that I flew was the T-41A Muscalero. Later in my Air Force career, after training in T-37s and T-38s and flying C-5s and T-3A Fireflies, I flew the T-41D as an instructor for the military. Off duty, I also instructed in a recreational aero club that flew surplus T-41A, T-41B and T-41C aircraft. If there is an E model out there I would like to fly it too! I have to agree with my Columbian friends that the T-41 is a fine trainer and a great way to learn the basics of flying! IN OUR AIR FORCE THE CADETS RECIEVE THEIR FIRST FLIGHT INSTRUCTION IN THE T-41. HOW EVER WHEN A CADET IS LEARNING TO FLY, IS VERY HARD THE LANDING, BUT IT´S TOO EASY DOING MANEUVRES FOR EXAMPLE CHANDELS, STALLS, AND SIMULATED EMERGENCIES. THANKS GOD I APROVE MY TESTS AND I WENT TO FLY THE T-37 TWEET-BIRD. NOW I AM FLYING THE DORNIER 328 WITH THE MILITARY AIRLINE SATENA. THE MLITARY AVIATION IS THE BEST , BECUASE WE CAN DO ANYTHING, FLY WITH NIGHT VISION GOOGLES, NIGHT FLY, BOMBING, CLOSE FORMATION, TACTICAL FORMATION, TRAIL FORMATION, LOW LOW LOW NAVIGATION, INTERCEPTION, INTERDICTION, AIR COMBAT,ETC.

| CHRISTIAN OCHOA medellin, CO | well first i had to put another country like canada because my country colombia dont appear in the countries options.
ok now im very happy because i finish the primary training in the exelent t-41 with grat honors and now i have 40 hours in this plane and i flew it three times along that two of them i was flying making manneuvers. now as a t-41 military pilot im waiting for a new assignament with the t-34 or the t-27. pilots i recomend this plane for every primary training the t-41 is the best on it.!!! cd3.ochoa rios christian . im a colombian air force cadet in third year and we here in the academy start third year flying as a primary training the t-41d mescalero, we been flying this exelent trainer since the 60s70s and we still flying, right now im in the primary training program with this aircraft and i only have a few hours in this aircraft and i can say that this is an exelent trainer , because i very strong in the hard landings it has a great landing year sistem because it is stronger , how ever it is a little complicated for make a grat flare because it is sensible specialy when you pull your stick back for the flare in the final aproach, but in the stall maneuvers and the simulated emergency the eight the chandell it is a great aircraft and very maniobrable, so finally i hope finish this program with exellent results to continue with the t-27 tucano but especially i recomend this aircraft the t-41 for every primary training in the world . christian ochoa rios. colombian air force cadet t-41d pilot. 04/07/2001 @ 22:29 [ref: 2029] |
