I worked on EF-10B's with VMCJ-3 back in 65-67 before going to Nam, and worked on them again along with RF-4B's and EA-6B's in VMCJ-1. I had to rewire a right side engine harness from the ol' carbon pile voltage regulator after somebody cross-wired it, causing a massive short-out of all wires surronding the cable.
Amazingly it worked when I finished it! Also amazingly I actually enjoyed working on those things, except for changing batteries and generators. Those damned things were heavy!
Semper-Fi!

Cool to see the F-10B... I worked on several of these at El Toro in the late 60s-70s when they were the EF-10B, then known as "Willie the Whale". I was on the line when we launched our last one to Quantico.
I think I'll go get out my old albums and see if I can come up with another picture to submit.

Thanks for the memories!
