Stephan Timmermans Bergen op Zoom, OTH | I have been working on this magnificent aircraft since 1996 until this very day (10 years) at the Fokker Services B.V. plant in Woensdrecht. Upgrading the RNLAF F-16's; Pacer Slip, MLU, M3, M4, Pacer Spark, etc so they are fully operational until they are going to be replaced with a next generation fighter aircraft. (F-35 lightning II????)

alonzo ray evans san jose, CA | This, to me is the ultimate fighter plane in the modern US arsenal. As a former 46250 , I had the pleasure of loading and maintaining this work of art for 5 1/2 years. 2 1/2 ye
ars at Misawa AFB, Japan, 1988- 1990.5, Hahn AB germany, 1990-1992. For 6.5 months I had the honor of loading the munitions that helped the liberation of Kuwait during Operation Desert Shield/ Storm in the city of Abu Dabi ,Saudi Arabia. 10/02/2005 @ 20:24 [ref: 11390] |
Jim , OH | The reference to Fort Smith above is correct. The 184th Fighter SQUADRON of the 188th Fighter WING at Fort Smith flies the F-16 as does the 188th Fighter SQUADRON of the 150th Fighter WING at Albuquerque. 07/04/2005 @ 01:32 [ref: 10664] |
Marty Martin Oklahoma City, OK | Anyone know the status of aircraft 78-0025. This was the aircraft I crewed from 79-81 at 388 TFW at Hill A.F.B. Thank you. 10/01/2002 @ 23:01 [ref: 5796] |

Ann Fields Goodyear, AZ | What happened to 81-676? I crewed that jet from 87-88? 09/03/2002 @ 02:52 [ref: 5603] |
Bob Van Dyke , NC | I\'am trying to find out if there was past thunderbird pilot named Ronald Manus 07/12/2002 @ 22:48 [ref: 5300] |
Gary Stephens Madison, AL | Under your listing of operators (past and present), the 188th FW entry is erroneous. Although the 188th does, indeed, fly the F-16C, the unit is part of the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) and it is located at Kirtland AFB, NM. 01/18/2002 @ 12:21 [ref: 4113] |
tony b lincoln, MI | The F-16 was one of the first US aircraft to use the fly-by-wire controls. The Fighting Falcon was chosen over the Northrop YF-17 Cobra by the Air Force. They were looking for a light weight fighter and found the F-16. 04/04/2001 @ 20:15 [ref: 1990] |
