Goran Lowkrantz Lulea, OTH | 68-10957 overflew Nordkapp 2006-07-01 12:23 on a North - South trajectory. It carried the RNorwAF 60 year commemorative Norwegan flag, the 335 sqn 'Husky' badge and showed the name 'Brage' under the cockpit window. 07/05/2006 @ 01:06 [ref: 13654] |
Wayne Brown , TX | Your list of past users should also include the 463rd Tactical Airlift Wing, Dyess AFB, TX. This unit included the 772, 773, 774 TAS. I logged time in several of the 1974 series while assigned to the 773. My time was logged in late 76 soon after the H-Models began to arrive to replace the 1963 E'series. Thanks for helping to mark the history of the Herk! 02/11/2005 @ 08:53 [ref: 9418] |
Bjørn Grønnvold Kristiansand - Norway, OTH | Under the section \'Known Serial Numbers\' the numbers 68-10952 and 68-10957 appears.
68-10952 and 68-10957 is both Royal Norwegian C-130H\'s (or modified C-130E\'s, depends on how you look at it).
RNoAF is equipped with six C-130\'s: 68-10952, 953, 954, 955, 956 and 957. They are all named after Norse Gods:
68-10952 Odin
68-10953 Tor
68-10954 Balder (not 100% sure if it is the right S/N)
68-10955 Frøy
68-10956 Brage (not 100% sure if it is the right S/N)
68-10957 Ty (not 100% sure if it is the right S/N)
Yours sincerely,
Bjørn Grønnvold
