Tony London,UK, OTH | The Me262S-01 etc. were numbers given to the first Me262A built as preproduction prototypes. 10/30/2007 @ 03:23 [ref: 18352] |
steve Portland, OR | I don't think there was ever an 'S' variant of the aircraft. There were 'A', 'B', and 'C' either in production or planned, but never an 'S'. Maybe if someone found a reference to the plane's nickname "Schwalbe" (Swallow) and made that leap? 07/17/2006 @ 19:56 [ref: 13742] |
Boyd Kidd Las Vegas, NV | I think you will be some time in getting a picture of a really Me-262"S" aircraft?
I have been doing research on the Me-262 for a number of years and find very little new information on it.
So, when I see any deviation or change to the norm
it jumps right out as with this "S"
