On the Airforce Flight Test Center @ Edwards AFB in the early 1960s I was the civil service Crewchif for four years. It was used as a chase plane on X-15 and similar tasks. It was the first T-38 at Edwards to reach 500 flight hours. Befor i was crewchief, the navy used it for testing on an aircraft carrier. It was after that, that it returned to Edwards for a chase plane.

Hello!

I am looking for a photograph or an image of the bottom half of QT-38A, s/n 59-1596 for the purpose of decal research. This was China Lake's Bi-Centennial a/c, and was painted in quite a beautiful paint scheme!

Thank you very much for your time and consideration!
