Great show...definitely worth the drive. The organizers were some of the most professional I have worked with so far this year. They had a packed flying schedule starting at 9am and continuing until almost 5pm. Some events were cancelled for the night show due to incoming cloud cover but the Wall of Fire and Shockwave certainly made up for it. check out the aerial shots of Sean Tucker and the Golden Knights as well as a unique view of Shockwave at http://www.tvrphotography.com/Aviation.htm

This was my first airshow and it was spectacular. My son is stationed at MCAS Miramar and he wanted us to see the show. The Blue Angels put on a good show and the Wall of Fire at the twilight show was amazing. This was my first time in California. What a difference to this girl from the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia! Great show.

Miramar was my 41st airshow, I have seen just about everything fly. Went to my first airshow in 1979. No doubt about it MIRAMAR WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!! A++ Don't even think about going to Edwards next year.

It was the best damn airshow ever. Me and my dad had a great time. There were no let downs what so ever!

As a regular "Twilight Show" attendee, I was disappointed this year as it appeared very dis-jointed. Seems like couple stunts were cancelled and/or the scheduling-timing was way off. The Marine Band is always excellent working with the stunts but the S.D. Orchestra appeared out of place. I'd still go next year but I'm afraid my 2 friends with families who are 1st timers will not.

The Blue Angels are the best in the business! I'm at the HVB Ranch, right across from Sunbeam Lake NAF in El Centro, CA, and these guys are flying over us and practicing there all the time. I also know the Blue Angels are required to climb Blue Angels Peak (4,548') near Jacumba (Ha-cum-ba), CA, on the Mexico border, the highest mountain in Imperial county, CA. The reason I know this in because it is near our other ranch in O'Neill valley, and when I rode my best rock climbing horse up to the top of Blue Angels Peak on 26 Feb 1995, I found their business cards in the registration lockbox at the top :) Blue Angels Peak climbers: 1) #2 F-18 Maj. Ben Hancock USMC "Lawman" 2) LTOR Andrew Nelson USN "Zo" 3) CPT. Pat DeLong USMC "Bubba" (C-130 pilot) 4) Lt. Mark Evans USN "Mo" (also my horse's name I rode to the top :) Also, there's a pilot in an A-4 Scooter who always waves and flashes his navigation lights at me when I riding fence in the boonies :) BTW, iI have a pilot's license too, but all I flown for the last 20 years is a good mustang named "Mo". I just watched this year's Miramar Air Show and it was fantastic again, and the Blue Angel's had first cabin booking and were terrific as usual. Adios, "Slim"

It is awesome. My Dad was in the Navy for 22 Years and now my Brother serves in the Middle East with the Shilo. I have seen and been around this stuff a long time and it never gets boring. Just think about it, these are the same men and woman who defend us all the time. You have got to go see this, for yourself and for them!!!
