I've attended this show for the alst five years and always enjoy Roger Lehnert do his "Flying Farmer" routine. This year's biplane duel between Jimmy Franklin and Jim LeRoy was outstanding! I never thought I'd see a Pitts think it was a helicopter!

The 2001 Air Show was the best ever!....... since they added pyrotechnics to re-enact a downed pilot rescue mission on the air field. Feeling the heat from the ground explosions made it feel like a real battlefield. Looking forward to riding to the show this weekend on the Harley! Start your engines. Anthony "A.C." Cascio

A fantastic regional show with a national flavor. Having flown years ago, I have never gotten the thrill out of my blood. The Sussex Air Show brought back the feeling of excitement I used to feel around aircraft. It is a must see.

I finally got my Dad to go to an Air Show in Sussex in 1986. Since, he has travelled many miles to see other shows, none as good. II go to the Reno air races now, since moving to Oregon, and all I talk to in the "business" know of the Sussex show. It's the BEST in the USA. Thank you Paul. By shear accident, we are here from Oregon, and will be at the show on Friday!

The unsung hero of the Sussex Airshow for at least 20 years has been Paul Styger. From all your airshow fans around the northeast, please keep up the great show!! PS, for those of you who have never had the thrill of flying in to an airshow, and parking close to the display aircraft, then leaving afterward, the Sussex Airshow is a real treat!!

Great show with national champs. Matt Chapman puts on a FANTASTIC show in his Cap and even signs autographs and chats with the crowd. Angelo Cillaroto puts his Extra through its paces. Jimmy Franklin makes his JET powered bipe do things a bipe never was intended to do. No "dead time" always something exciting. Sussex Airport was the home of Leo Loudenslager who built the Laser 200 which was the first mid wing to win the first National champs. The Thursday before airshow weekend a local RC model airplane club puts on a Fun Fly called the Laser Invitational" that is fun for participants and spectators alike. Note: The airport owner said this may be the last year for this show. Don't miss it!
