The picture depicted as a CF104D,is either an A,C,orF104G model. To the best of my knowledge the D model was a two seater, of which there were two models built. The Big D had a fuel tank mounted in what would have been the gun bay just forward of the left intake. The Little D did not have this tank and the pilots used this area to store there over night bags when flying X-country.
