Visited a few years ago and had a great time. Was really tempted to move nearby so I could volunteer there. Great staff and a nice collection.

 CLIFFORD FRIEND
 MALAGA,

LAST APRIL WE WERE FORTUNATE AND VISITED THE MUSEUM AT MESA - WHAT A JOY - WE WERE PERSONALLY ESCORTED BY ONE OF YOUR INFORMATIVE VOLUNTEERS WHO HAD BEEN BASED IN THE UK DURING THE WAR AND AS AN EX-RAF REGULAR I FOUND THE EXPERIENCE MOST ENJOYABLE. THANK ALL YOUR COLLEAGUES FOR A MOST EXHILARATING AND ENTERTAINING AFTERNOON .

I note that the photo you have for the Douglas A-26C Invader is in fact a Martin B26 "Marauder" (A very rare aircraft today) When the USAF no longer had "Marauders" the A26 designation of "invader" was changed to B26. Hence the were two distinct aircraft the Douglas A26/B26 and the Martin B26. I have yet to see the Museum and will reserve final judgement till I have.

I am in (near) Dayton OH, and I have a huge (HUGE!) mass of vintage avionics that is going out for scrap metal starting tomorrow (1Jul2003). If anyone can immediately respond to assist in the process of culling desirable material as it is being sorted with a track hoe, we would like to talk to you. Materials set aside will be auctioned with my father's estate (previously Engineering Associates surplus electronics in Dayton). Such things as B-29 gun turret controls, B-57 navigation star trackers, much radar and communication equipment, etc. is going bye bye unless somebody comes to the rescue. Please call 937-890-2522 or 692-5641. Thanks--Chas

If you are going by Camplin you should stop by here. Lots of neat stuff besides the airplanes, but don't go a long way out of your way to see it. The Camplin Museum around the corner makes this a good stop.

small museum, $5 entry charge but very well presented. Mexican DC-6 outside is great and warbirds inside. Beware, B17 could be on a tour but always something of interest.
