Joel , MD | Anyone know what happened to 74-114? Was used at Langleys air shows for over a decade then dsiappeared like a fart in the wind. Would have thought it would have gone to the Hampto Air Power Park nearby but nope. Was an A model they used right up to the 1st Raptors arrival for Statics all over the hampton roads area. Thanks for any help. 01/06/2012 @ 20:06 [ref: 51840] |

K. Van Wickler , VA | Looks like they still have the nose gear turned around the wrong way on the F-15A at the NMUSAF in Dayton - mentioned it to one of the docents last time I was there. Oh well, guess I'm just too picky...

Frank McDonald , TX | The basic Crew Chief Course at Sheppard AFB has what must be a very early copy. It has a portion of the outboard wing reconstructed of wood. It has a short speed brake, so must be a prototype or perhaps, a test model. 02/28/2009 @ 18:34 [ref: 23840] |
Greg Prahl Belgium, WI | You are correct. The 318th closed its doors in '89. The Eagle on display at McChord served with the 5th FIS in Minot, ND. I was assigned to both of these units during the period from '85 - '89 that both units were deactivated. 01/14/2009 @ 16:45 [ref: 23488] |
jerrold malone tucson, AZ | My old unit(Air Force Orientation Group) retired our F-15 to this museum and they displayed it for a while. It appears that it is not here anymore.Does anyone know where 71-0280 is? It was the first one flown. 02/11/2008 @ 04:57 [ref: 19639] |
