I was surprised to find shopping information o a Air Museum web page. Apparently not everyone knows what an airplane is. Obviously there are still folks in the 18th century who need to get educated.

My dad was USAF Col. 'Pete' Petersen, a vet who served thirty years from 1941 until 1971, including 176 combat missions over the 'hump'. He was also a test pilot on several models of experimental aircraft including the P-52 Mustang before it went to production and was instrumental in the AWACS program, I have a photograph of him sitting next to Lt. Col McCabe probably mere months before his death. At that time, my dad was a Lt. Col. also and also in the photo is Lt. Col. Colboch, cmdr. of the 875th squadron. Lt. Col. McCabes death is noted on the photograph, which was taken in Zaragoza, Spain.
